Most schedules repeat every week. Add a date range when a schedule should only run for a while, such as a holiday promotion. Set a priority when schedules overlap and you want one to win.
You need: the editor, admin or owner role.
Add a date range
- Go to Schedules.
- Select New schedule, or select the edit button next to an existing schedule.
- Open Date range and priority.
- Set Starts, Ends, or both. Both are optional:
- With only Starts, the schedule begins on that date and never ends.
- With only Ends, it runs from now until the end of that date.
- Select Save schedule.
The dates include the start and end days. A schedule with Starts on 20 December and Ends on 26 December runs on both of those days, on the days and times you picked.
After its end date, the schedule shows an Ended label in the list and drops off the week view. You can edit it to give it new dates, or delete it.
Choose a priority
When two schedules cover the same screen at the same time, only one plays. Use When schedules overlap to decide which:

With equal priority, a schedule for one screen beats one for a group, which beats one for all screens. If they're still tied, the schedule that was created first wins.
Example
Bayside Hotels has an Evening loop schedule for the group London, every day from 18:00 to 02:00. At Christmas they want a notice on every screen, all day.
- They create Christmas notice for All screens, Every day, All day.
- Under Date range and priority, they set Starts to 24 December and Ends to 26 December.
- They set When schedules overlap to High: wins over normal schedules.
Without the high priority, the evening loop would still win in London in the evening, because it targets a group and the notice targets all screens.
Troubleshooting
"The end date is before the start date." Swap the dates, or clear one of them.
The wrong schedule plays. Check each schedule's priority and target. A screen-specific schedule beats a group one of the same priority, even if the group one looks more important. Raise the priority of the one you want to win.
