If your screens are in different cities, you don't need a separate schedule for each timezone. A schedule's times are local times. Each screen runs it in its own timezone.
How it works
Say Bayside Hotels has a schedule, Breakfast menu, for all screens on weekdays from 06:30 to 10:30.
- A screen in London shows it from 06:30 to 10:30 London time.
- A screen in New York shows it from 06:30 to 10:30 New York time, five hours later.
Dates work the same way. A schedule that ends on 26 December ends at the end of 26 December on each screen's own calendar.
Clock changes for summer time are handled for you.
Where the screen's timezone comes from
Each screen has its own Timezone setting, on its page under Settings. New screens start with your organization's timezone. Change it for screens in other places. See Screen settings.
Which times use your organization's timezone
A few things in the admin use your organization's timezone instead of each screen's:
- the week view on the Schedules page, including the red "now" line
- the Show from and Show until dates on media and playlist items
- broadcast end times shown on the Broadcasts page
- proof-of-play reports
