Schedules are listed below the week view on the Schedules page. Each row shows what it shows, where, and when. From there you can pause, edit or delete it.
You need: the editor, admin or owner role.
Pause or resume a schedule
Pausing stops a schedule without deleting it. It's handy for a promotion you'll run again.
- Go to Schedules.
- Find the schedule in the list and select Pause.
The row shows a Paused label and the schedule disappears from the week view. Screens stop following it within a minute. Select Resume to turn it back on.
Edit a schedule
- Go to Schedules.
- Select the edit button (the pencil) next to the schedule.
- Change what you need, then select Save schedule.
Delete a schedule
- Go to Schedules.
- Select the delete button (the bin) next to the schedule.
- Select Delete to confirm.
Deleting can't be undone. If you might need the schedule again, pause it instead.
Labels in the list
| Label | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Priority high or Priority highest | The schedule wins over lower-priority ones when they overlap. |
| Paused | Switched off. Screens ignore it. |
| Ended | Its end date has passed. |
| Waiting for approval | New, and not on screens until an admin approves it. |
| Change waiting for approval | Screens follow the approved version until the change is approved. |
| Delete waiting for approval | Screens keep following it until an admin approves the delete. |
| Not approved | An admin turned the request down. Any note they left appears below. |
With approvals turned on
If your organization uses approvals and you're an editor, pausing, resuming, editing and deleting a live schedule all become requests. The button says Submit for approval, and screens keep following the approved schedule until an admin approves. Select Withdraw in the row to take a request back. See Working with approvals.
