Design what your screens show. Start from a template in your brand, split the screen into zones and add widgets like clocks, weather and tickers.

A layout splits a screen into zones. Each zone shows media, a playlist or a widget. Start from one of the designed templates, or build your own in the layout designer.

  1. Browse the template libraryFind a ready-made design for your screens. Templates show live previews in your own brand colours, fonts and logo.
  2. Use a templateTurn a template into your own layout, then change the text and pictures and put it on a screen.
  3. Create a blank layoutStart a layout from a simple arrangement of zones, such as full screen, two halves or a main area with a sidebar and ticker.
  4. Layout designer basicsAdd, move and resize zones, use snapping and keyboard nudging, then save, preview, duplicate or delete your layout.
  5. Show media and playlists in zonesPut an image, video, document, web page or a whole playlist into one zone of a layout.
  6. Layers and zone styleControl which zones sit on top, and give a zone its own background colour, rounded corners, opacity and inner spacing.
  7. Layout backgroundsGive a layout a solid colour, a gradient or a photo, and darken the photo so text on top stays readable.

  15. Logo widgetShow your organization's logo from the brand kit, with the right version picked automatically for light or dark backgrounds.
  16. Menu or price list widgetShow items with prices and optional descriptions, like a café menu or a price board, in your brand fonts and colours.
  17. Calendar widgetShow a meeting room board (available or in use) or an agenda of upcoming events from an Outlook or Google calendar.
  18. Save a layout as a templateTurn one of your layouts into a template so your team can start new layouts from the same design.
  19. Design for portrait screensMake tall layouts for screens mounted on their side, and set the screen to portrait so the picture turns the right way.
