A playlist can rotate several dashboards on one screen: say, occupancy, then bookings, then the weather. Each web page item in a playlist has its own reload setting. In this article you'll set it up.

You'll need: the editor, admin or owner role, and your dashboards added as web pages.

Add dashboards to a playlist

  1. Open the playlist from Playlists, or create one with New playlist.
  2. Select Add media or layout and pick a web page, for example "Occupancy dashboard". Web pages start at 60 seconds.
  3. Adjust Show for so people have time to read it.

Set the reload interval

Web page items have a Reload menu on their row:

  • Use the page's setting: uses the Reload every choice saved on the web page in the media library. This is the default.
  • Never, Every minute, Every 5 minutes, Every 15 minutes or Every hour: overrides the page's setting in this playlist only.

Select Save playlist when you're done.

Tips for dashboard playlists

  • Choose Cut (no transition) under Transition, so dashboards don't blur into each other while loading.
  • Give slow dashboards a longer Show for, because the first few seconds are spent loading.
  • Set Zoom on each web page in the media library so small dashboards are readable across the room.
  • Web pages need the screen to be online. If the screen may lose internet, add a picture or video too, so the loop always has something to show.
