When a client or auditor asks for evidence, export the plays as a CSV file. It lists every single play, one row each, so you can filter and total it however you like.
Before you start: you need the editor, admin or owner role.
Download the CSV
- In the menu, select Reports.
- Set From, To, Screen and Content to the plays you want, then select Show.
- Select Export CSV.
Your browser downloads a file named like proof-of-play-2026-09-01-to-2026-09-30.csv. It uses the same filters as the report on screen. Group by doesn't matter here: the file always has one row per play.
What's in the file
| Column | What it contains |
|---|---|
| Started | When the play began, in your organization's timezone. The header names the timezone, for example "Started (Europe/London)". |
| Seconds | How long it was on screen. |
| Screen | The screen's name, or "(removed screen)". |
| Location | The screen's location, if you set one. |
| Content | The media item's name, such as "Summer menu". |
| Type | The media type, such as image, video or pdf. |
| Layout | The layout it played in, if any. |
| Playlist | The playlist it played in, if any. |
| Why it played | Assigned content, Schedule or Broadcast. |
Troubleshooting
The file only has a header row. Nothing played in that range with those filters. Widen the dates or set Screen and Content back to "All".
Times are an hour out. Times use your organization's timezone, not each screen's. Check the timezone under Settings. See Organization settings.
