Web pages are the most flexible content you can show, and the most likely to need a tweak. Find what you see below.
The page is blank in the browser player or preview
Many sites refuse to be shown inside another page. It's a security setting on their side. They work in the Android app, which opens web pages in their own view, but not in a web browser used as a player, and not in admin previews.
- Use an Android screen for that page, or
- ask the site's owner whether they have an "embed" or "kiosk" link, or
- take a screenshot and upload an image, if the page rarely changes.

The screen shows a login page
Screens can't type a username and password. Use one of these instead:
- A key in the address. Many dashboard tools can make a view-only link with a token. Add the token under Access keys with Add URL parameter, so it's sent to screens but never shown in the admin. See Access keys.
- A header. Some tools accept a key in an HTTP header, such as
Authorization. Use Add HTTP header. Headers only work on Android screens. - A public or shared link from the dashboard tool, if your company allows it.
The page is too small to read
Open the web page in Media and change Zoom, for example to 150%. See Web pages and dashboards.
The page shows old data
Check Reload every on the web page (the default is 5 minutes). In a playlist, the item's Reload can override it. See Dashboards in playlists.
Times on the page are wrong
The page uses the box's own clock, which may be in a different timezone from the screen. See Fix the box's timezone.
"Enter a full address starting with https://"
Paste the whole address, including https://.
An HTML snippet shows nothing
Snippets run in a sandbox. Scripts are allowed, but they can't reach the player or other screens. Check your HTML in a normal browser first. See HTML snippets.
